This label belong to the

This label belong to the jubilee 100 years sets. I added the jubilee catalog entry, so this label is displayed in both catalog entries. OK?

I'm curious, how do we know

I'm curious, how do we know this is a misprint and not an intentional variation? (Asking this because a green variation exists and is not labeled as a misprint)

Strictly speaking, we can

Strictly speaking, we can only be 100% certain once one of us finds this sticker on a banana and confirms it with 5✓ verification.

The green variation already has 10 confirmations and most collectors agree it does not match the regular chiquita brand specifications, but not all. So it may also be a misprint. In contrast, the red version is clearer - all collectors who examined it agree it is not a regular banana label.

Until a verified on-fruit example is documented, classifying it as a misprint remains the most plausible conclusion.

In addition, our collector friends from CR&EC have strong contacts with printing companies and many labels from these countries are just waste of the printing process.

I see, it makes sense. Thank

I see, it makes sense. Thank your for the detailed answer. It's also really cool to see there's people with contacts that go that far :)

The red version was used

The red version was used before Christmas (repeatedly several times)...

This one is underprinted - the light blue color is missing. By co-printing purple and blue, a dark blue is created.
